abilities:
Speed: Blaze is just about as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog, who moves at the speed of sound, able to keep up with him neck and neck.personality:
Pyrokinesis: Blaze is capable of creating, manipulating and extinguishing fire, whether it is her own fire, summoned at will, or that of an enemy trying to use it against her or her friends. She now has great control over these flames, and is even able to do things like melt people out of giant popsicles without burning them, or propelling herself off the ground/flying with the fire.
World-hopping: Under normal circumstances, her mastery over the Sol emeralds would allow her to hop between her own world and Sonic's at will. Obviously that won't be happening here.
Burning Blaze: When Blaze is in possession of all 7 Sol Emeralds, she can transform into Burning Blaze. In this state, all of Blaze's abilities far surpass her normal ones, including her pyrokinesis, which allows her to fire and charge up destructive fireballs in this state. She is also nearly invulnerable. However, this transformation consumes a lot of energy, meaning it cannot be maintained for long.
In her childhood, Blaze struggled socializing with others. Her inability to control her inborn pyrokinesis caused her to feel like an outcast, teased by her peers and forced to be alone. And for a long time, that’s what she believed she had to be: alone. Her flames were a curse that isolated her from everyone around her, and it was her duty to protect them alone.samples: Fio and Shadow (Game)
This all changed when she met Cream the Rabbit and Sonic the Hedgehog. Through adventuring with Cream and a hard-learned lesson from Sonic, Blaze has slowly begun to open up to the people around her, though there are some traits of hers that will never change.
One is that she is serious. Blaze is driven by her sense of duty, and it’s no wonder when she’s the princess of the Sol Empire. She’s had a lot of weight on her shoulders from a young age, including pressures that were socially driven, pushing her to become steadfast and responsible. Before, she was rather withdrawn and reserved, pushing others away so that she could handle her responsibilities alone. However, while she’s still more uptight than the average person you’ll meet, she understands the importance of allowing your friends to help you carry your weight. She just... has a hard time with knowing how to take a break sometimes.
Another important trait of hers is that she’s compassionate. Blaze cares deeply for her people, and her people can range from those of the Sol Empire, to her friends, to even those who live in Sonic’s world and have nothing to do with her. She always tries to carry the world on her shoulders, but she does that as her choice—it’s because she cares deeply for others, and understands that as someone in a position of power, it’s her responsibility to ensure their safety and happiness. This is why you’ll often find her happiest when helping others, be it lending her aid to the Restoration, or offering Silver a listening ear and sharing her advice. Blaze’s natural state is caring for others, just... through actions, more so than words.
She’s also just plain passionate. Tying in with her strong senses of duty and justice, Blaze can sometimes get a little too carried away with her feelings, going overboard with her need to restore order. For example, when Eggman Nega revealed his plan to conquer both worlds using the Power of the Stars, Blaze was so furious that Sonic had to talk her down and remind her of her responsibilities. There are a lot of people who depend on her, and she can’t just go off putting herself in danger, but the right trigger just might cause her to do so anyway.
Ever since she learned about the true power of the Sol Emeralds, friendship, Blaze has started to open up a little more to people more and more. While she still has an independent nature when it comes to things she feels are her personal responsibility, she’s a lot more open to working with others and creating relationships with them. While she may still fumble here and there, at the end of the day she’s come to value these friends she’s made a lot—enough so that, when she managed to tie up her loose ends in her world, she came to assist in Sonic’s.
